Dr. Jeda Boughton
Dr. Jeda Boughton - Bio
Dr. Jeda Boughton is a graduate of the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver, where she completed a 5-year program at the Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine level. She has been a B.C. registered acupuncturist with CTCMA since 2003, registered TCM practitioner since 2004 and a Doctor of TCM since 2005.
She has been a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (FABORM) since 2012. In her practice she focuses mainly on women’s health, thyroid imbalance, fertility, sports injury and pain.
Dr. Boughton actively contributes to the growing TCM community through her work with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia (CTCMA). She is an examiner and a member of the development team for the Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine licensing exam. She also sits on the Discipline Committee and is a panel member for CTCMA disciplinary hearings.
Dr. Boughton is driven to rigorous professional development. She has been enrolled in the Graduate Mentorship program since 2018 and has she has undertaken extensive additional training with well-known specialists in women’s health, fertility, thyroid care, menopause, pregnancy, pain management, skin disease, advanced tongue and pulse diagnosis, laser therapy and more.
